Why did I choose The Gunslinger?!?!

Stephen King is known for amazing work like Shawshank Redemtion and The Shining, but I have already seen the movie versions of those books. Thats why I chose something from Stephen King that has not been filmatized yet.

So why Stephen King? What is so special about his books? Well he writes horror, supernatural fiction, suspense, science fiction, western and fantasy.  These are all my favorite categories for books and movies, and the gunslinger in particular is a western, fantasy book. I have always been interested in the work of Stephen King and this school project has given me the perfect chance to finally getting to read one of his books. I am really excited  about this project, and I can’t wait to begin!
